Still travelling for work but you need somewhere where you get room to breathe as well as somewhere to chill and relax without breaking the bank. Well, perhaps you’re looking for a serviced apartment and you just need to know how they work.

Allow us to explain…

Feels like Home

Those of us who can still travel (for a full list check out our article),  are looking for a place that’s easy to get to and feels like home. After all, there’s no point having time away from the family and being uncomfortable, is there?

And this is where serviced apartments are ideal.

Serviced Apartments

You may have heard about serviced apartments and wondered why you would even consider using one for your stay.

Well, simply put, a serviced apartment is a place to stay where you just turn up and settle in. It’s fast becoming a great alternative to staying in a hotel for many reasons.

Privacy

First of all, there’s a lot more privacy than staying in a hotel, and you get the whole apartment to yourself. This gives you the freedom to come and go as you please. There are no receptionists watching you go in and out and there’s no one telling you you’ve missed breakfast should you happen to sleep in.

Parking

Parking is very often provided on site and that means you won’t have to worry about finding a parking space on arrival – you can just park up and go straight to your apartment.

Cleaning

The serviced element is mainly to do with the cleaning service.

Under normal times, if you are staying for more than a week, a cleaner will come to the apartment around once a week, take away all your dirty bed linen and towels and will remake the beds and give the place a good clean.

With COVID restrictions however, cleaners will now do a drop off and collect service instead.

And that, in a nutshell, is what serviced apartments give you. A home from home, where you don’t have to do deep cleans or do laundry. You just enjoy yourself whilst on a break (yes, one day we’ll be able to take weekend breaks and holdiays) or even use one if you’re on the road for work.
